Highgate
This unit located in Highgate is one of a small block of twenty on Beaufort Street and was purchased in truly ‘original’ condition. While the kitchen had been modernised some years ago, the bathroom had not been touched and the flooring was the only part of the ‘original’ that remained. The owner had bought this unit to renovate and then place back on the market in a four week time period so we had our skates on!
We started from scratch and you can see the amazing results for yourself. A new kitchen and bathroom really added some sparkle and it’s always amazing what a coat of paint can do. The new paving meant that guests could be accommodated comfortably outside and the blinds and lighting just added to the finish.
We had the unit ready for its first Home Open in four weeks from commencement, and it sold on its second Home Open. The owner was one very happy client earning $16,000 in profit over and above the costs associated with the renovation. And, the purchaser, well they had a funky and functional home that looked a million bucks
