Casual Beach Style Makeover-Kingsley

It was time…

This Kingsley kitchen had seen three boys grow to men and all the ups and downs associated with family life. As the one female of the family, Debbie had long dreamed of a sparkling new kitchen complete with scullery. After 13 years, the kitchen wasn’t the only room that needed renovating. The project brief was to breathe new life into the home, creating a contemporary Hamptons feel. We set to work stripping the original kitchen, face brick and part walls back to make way for the stunning new model. The scullery construction took place over two weeks, using space from the adjoining lounge room. The old tiled floors made way for beautiful new whitewashed oak floorboards. Raked ceilings and all evidence of face brick throughout was lined. This instantly altered the feel of the formal living areas. The bathroom and laundry areas were stripped and new tiles bought them into the 21st century. Finally, a lick of paint and window treatments completed the picture.
