Churchlands 2

This gorgeous architecturally designed home was purchased by our clients with a view to renovating before they moved in, to enjoy retirement. The home was built some fifteen years earlier and while its design was still contemporary, it was ripe for renovation. Our renovations touched every area of this home except the already gorgeous marble flooring throughout the ground floor. Our team worked closely with our clients Dick, Jenny and designer Casey Caville from Studio Seventy Four to ensure that the renovation delivered a fresh, comfortable and contemporary home that feels as good as it looks to live in. This is the second renovation that Dick has entrusted us with and we were delighted to be involved.

Our thanks to Dick, Jenny, Casey and an amazing team of trades people for making this happen. We are thrilled with the outcome.

What our client has to say

We started our project in October 2017 and completed in March 2018. With the exception of both floors, it was a complete renovation down to the concrete. This was my second project that I appointed Kellie to undertake, which was 4 times bigger than the first.

This included completely gutting, redesigning, retiling, rebuilding and re-cabinetry of the kitchen; laundry; store room; theatre; main ensuite and walk-in robe; bedroom 2 bathroom and walk-in robe; converting the upper floor kitchenette to a powder room; replacing all tapware, shower screens and fittings; replacing all 3 toilets and washbasins; sanding the entire upper Merbau (aka Borneo Teak or Moluccan Ironwood) timber floor and re-varnishing; honing the entire ground marble floor; replacing all 64 light fittings; plastering; cornicing; skirting; carpentry work; replacing front door, garage door and front powered security gate; replacing large paved driveway with aggregate; complete repaint to interior and exterior with alternative colours; replacing pool fence and clothes line

First came the mini demolitions and stripping of various parts of several rooms. This was performed in a very uncluttered manner and in very good time.

Next came the relocated plumbing, tiling, cabinetry, plastering and painting which Kellie sourced with little effort, due to the vastness of her contacts and Tradespeople of whom she is all too familiar. The results speak for themselves whereby everybody who has come to witness the transformation, has been overwhelmed.

She sourced a complete array of appliances for our ‘new’ home in a very timely and efficient manner and complied with all of our preferences of manufacturers and models.

Kellie has a remarkable rapport with a vast gamut of talented and responsive Tradespeople. Least of all to mention her own notable talent, enthusiasm, promptness to changes and pleasant disposition.

Kellie’s diligence, professionalism, punctuality and patience has again been well noted and very much appreciated. Her integrity and candour are additionally well noted, by way of which we would not hesitate to engage her again for similar services. We were also impressed with Kellie’s planning / tracking expertise and regular communications with updates on sourcing and deliveries.

We wish her every success and continued harmonious dealings in her chosen vocation. No problem was too difficult for Kellie and her approach to each and every hurdle, which were numerous, was well composed and very proficient and most importantly, satisfactorily remedied.
